Construction of the Lesmurdie Primary School Rebuild project, has commenced after the appointment of Crothers by the Department of Finance, to deliver the $19 million project. Early works consisting of Earthworks, Retaining, Drainage, Concrete Works and Structure Steel is progressing well.
Located on the corner of Willoughby and Sanderson Road in Lesmurdie, the redevelopment comprises of 3 separable portions. Stage 1 includes the site clearing and earthworks to accommodate three new buildings, new car parking, hardstand, landscaping and associated services provisions. Stage 2 comprises of demolition of the existing buildings, site clearing and earthworks to accommodate two new buildings, external features, new car parking and landscape works. The final stage is the removal of temporary works and services associated with transportable buildings, making good and landscaping.
Works are expected to be completed for the start of the new schooling year 2023.
