Crothers Construction won the Best Regional Project Award, for the Kimberley and Pilbara Region at the annual Master Builders Regional Awards Ceremony on the 19 June, for the Broome Senior High School new facilities project.
The award comes hot on the tail after winning the Best West Australian Regional Commercial Building Award for the Lockyer Aged Care Facility in Albany in October 2020, and shows Crothers diversity to complete quality commercial work all over WA.
The work to the school also won the Best Education Building Award ($10-20 Million) at the event. The judges stated that the upgrade and extensions have transformed the school into a state-of-the-art landmark in Broome and highlighted the skillful way the builder faced the difficulties, throughout the construction phase in keeping the school operational, whilst performing the works.
