Crothers Construction were engaged by Juniper to undertake major alterations and additions to their Hillcrest Lodge Aged Care Facility in Geraldton.
The project brief called for the work to be carried out in two stages. Stage 1 comprised a new accommodation wing, recreation facilities, administration offices and new entry. Stage 2 involved the refurbishment of the existing accommodation units, reconstruction of the kitchen and laundry facilities and an upgrade of the building’s fire protection and electrical services.
With the complex fully occupied and functioning throughout the construction process, detailed coordination and consultation was an integral part of the management of the works and thanks to the goodwill and cooperative efforts of every stakeholder, all the Project’s goals and milestones were able to be achieved.
